Description
Aetheryne is a Shire native with an impish smile and a habit of agreeing before she has fully thought it through.
She loves building in all its forms, from sheds to castles and everything in between, and when something breaks she is already reaching for her tools. Helping comes as naturally to her as breathing, as if usefulness itself keeps her grounded.
She fits in wherever she goes, quick to laugh and quicker to join whatever plan is forming. Adventure calls to her as strongly as work does, pulling her toward new roads, high places, and uncertain outcomes. A notorious cliff jumper, Aetheryne chases the rush of wind and water with the same reckless joy she brings to every project. To her, standing still feels worse than the fall.
And yet, she will stop without warning. In the middle of a task or a journey, she may fall silent, caught by the curve of a hill, the way sunlight settles on stone, or the quiet patience of growing things. Simple scenery holds her just long enough to breathe it in, to honor the beauty of the Divines’ creation, as though she is afraid it might slip past her if she does not look closely.
Staying busy is instinctive. She rarely slows down and almost never says no, moving as though momentum itself keeps her present and visible in the world. Beneath it all lies something she yearns for but refuses to name, a want she keeps close but never holds. She knows it would ruin her if she reached too far, knows that the moment she truly stopped she would feel its weight. So she keeps it at arm’s length, filling the space with motion, with adventure, with building and helping and leaping headfirst into whatever comes next, always moving just fast enough to stay ahead of it.
